This privacy policy explains how Breadcrumbs & Schema by NA ("we", "us") collects, uses, and stores data when you install and use the Breadcrumbs & Schema by NA Shopify app.

Data we collect

When you install Breadcrumbs & Schema by NA, we collect and store:

• Shop information — your Shopify store domain, name, and currency, used to configure the app and generate structured data.
• Access token — a Shopify API token that allows the app to read your products, collections, pages, articles, and themes, and to write settings metafields.
• Breadcrumb overrides — any manual breadcrumb trails you configure in the app are stored in our database, associated with your shop domain.
• App settings — your breadcrumb display and schema settings are stored as a metafield on your Shopify store, not in our database.

We do not collect personal data about your customers or store visitors.

How we use your data

Data is used solely to provide the Breadcrumbs & Schema by NA service — generating breadcrumb navigation and structured data markup for your storefront. We do not sell, share, or use your data for any other purpose.

Data storage

Your shop access token and breadcrumb overrides are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon (neon.tech), located in AWS Europe West 2 (London). Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Third-party services

Breadcrumbs & Schema by NA uses the following third-party services:

• Shopify — to authenticate merchants and access store data via the Shopify Admin API.
• Neon — for database hosting. See Neon's privacy policy.
• Fly.io — for application hosting. See Fly.io's privacy policy.

Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as Breadcrumbs & Schema by NA is installed on your store. When you uninstall the app, your access token is invalidated by Shopify and your store data is removed from our database within 48 hours in accordance with Shopify's GDPR requirements.

Under GDPR and applicable data protection law, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. To make a request, contact us at the address below.
